Constance Folsom | Treasurer

Constance Folsom brings a wealth of community activist work to Atlanta Filmmakers Alliance. Folsom specializes in special education focusing on students with learning differences, behavioral challenges, and Autism. She has earned a Masters of Educational Psychology/Special Education from Georgia State and a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Mercer University. She also received additional credentials as a certified mediator.

Currently, Constance Folsom is a business consultant, community activist, educator, social entrepreneur, and writer whose community activist work began during her high school years working with young girls and during college working with at-risk elementary students at the Blitch Street Community Center of Statesboro, GA.

During her career and community work, she has achieved several accomplishments in youth work, church ministry, and her corporate environments. She has published numerous articles on the issues of church, race, and education. Her current vision is to start a new grassroots human and civil rights organization, The DreamKeepers, which includes a community school, innovative business network group for economic sustainability, and strategic community organization.
